Malchadiel
Malchadiel is the Grey Knights Armourium Master aboard Titan's Star Fort, Apex Cronus Bastion.[1]
History
Before his current rank, Malchadiel was a member of Justicar Galeo's Interceptor Squad, Squad Castian, in the Chapter's 8th Brotherhood.[2a] They took part in the First Armageddon War and aided in the targeted strike against the Daemon Primarch Angron. The World Eaters' master was defended by the Bloodthirsters known as the Cruor Praetoria, however, and the Grey Knights suffered heavy losses, before Angron was banished back to the Warp. Only thirteen members of the Chapter's forces who took part in the battle survived and Malchadiel was among them.[2b]
Centuries later, his fellow survivor Graucis Telomane made note of how Angron's wrath had left its mark on all of the thirteen and had reshaped their lives forever. To Telomane, the most obvious was they were driven and had gone down paths of excellence within the Grey Knights Chapter. This was true for Malchadiel, as he would master the mysteries of Mars and became the Armourium Master of Apex Cronus Bastion.[1]
