Siege of Goddeth Hive

The Siege of Goddeth Hive was a battle fought in 455.M41.^[1]

During the battle, the Black Consuls Space Marines were charged with defending Goddeth Hive from Chaos Space Marine assault. There, they faced a combined army of Iron Warriors and Word Bearers, including the ancient Battleship Infidus Imperator.^[1] After a vicious battle, the Black Consuls were able to best the traitors. However at the moment of their defeat, the Iron Warriors detonated Goddeth Hive's nucleonic reactor, vaporizing themselves, the Black Consuls, and much of an entire continent. The loyalist Chapter was annihilated as a result.^[2]
