Owing to the harsh climate of their homeworld, the Tallarn have a distinctive combat garb consisting of light, loose cottons, a wraparound head-scarf and canvas boots.
History dictates or future, and Tallarn is no exception to this. Following the desecration of their homeworld during the [[Horus Heresy]] by the [[Iron Warriors]], the Tallarn have been forced to make use of Mechanised Armour and APC's in order to safely move their infantry.
As with every army, a prefered heavy weapon has emerged. With the Tallarn, these have proven to be the [[Plasma Gun]]and the [[Missile Launcher]]both enabling a very much hit and run approach, delivering a crippling blow as well as relative ease of transport.
