A class of weapons known as [[C'tan Phase Weapon]]s are also thought to utilize living metal. These are usually potent close combat weapons but when they come into contact with the living metal hide of a C'tan, they are sucked from the hands of their wielder as if the C'tan is reabsorbing a part of its body.{{Cite This}}
The hull of the [[Necron]] [[Monolith]] is also made of the almighty living metal. Powerful weapons such as [[Meltaguns]], [[Multi-meltas]] and [[Power Fist]]s are nearly rendered obsolete.<sup>1</sup> Such a deadly monument to the Necron powers has inspired the infamous [[Tau]] saying "Living Armor Armour Happens".{{Cite This}}
