How to add sources

It is compulsory to add official sources for ANY change or addition of information!

The new text has to be marked with a footnote.

new text1

This footnote is then referenced under "Sources" at the end of the article:

*1: Codex XY, p. xx

Please note that it is absolutely compulsory to include pagenumbers (in the case of novels chapter numbers)!

If you are referencing different pages/ chapters from the same source the source itself is marked with a number, the individual pages or chapters by letters:

new text1: p. xy ... new text1: p. yz

*1: Codex XY:

In the case of novels, no pagenumbers should be given (they vary between translations and print runs). In this case chapternumbers are compulsory.

new text1: ch. xy ... new text1: ch. yz

*1: XY (Novel):

Please first test this function in the Lexicanum:Immaterium.

Any and all images have to be provided with a proper source and a proper category. --DetlefK 20:04, 23 June 2012 (CEST)

Pleaselook at the help-pages or exemplary articles how to properly include images into articles (position, size...). Additionally, images also have to be provided with a footnote, when used inside an article. --DetlefK 20:10, 23 June 2012 (CEST)

Please be careful with your grammar, including the use of articles.--Proteus77 00:41, 29 June 2012 (CEST)

Proteus use the talk page not the user page...--Ashendant 13:41, 29 June 2012 (CEST)

Hi, noticed you have been making lots of lovely edits recently, very nice. A while ago a few of us set up a page for regular users to discuss and collaberate on various projects, if you want to join in or suggest stuff please feel free! The Lemur 00:58, 12 July 2012 (CEST)

I copied the info from your user page onto the kill team page to see if any of the other guys have any info, hope thats ok. The Lemur 02:03, 12 July 2012 (CEST)

Ok, I'm in. - Rolz

You are hereby warned. You will immediately adhere to the guidelines concerning footnotes and categories.

 1. You will provide all your changes to text with proper footnotes.
 2. You will provide all images you put into articles with a short description what's actually depicted AND with a footnote where this image can be found.
 3. You will provide all images you uploaded with the proper category.

If you don't, I will have to undo all of your improper changes. --DetlefK 16:43, 12 July 2012 (CEST)

Ok, boss. I'm on it.

Ok, I fixed everything I could find. I'll keep all those things in mind from now on. If something is still wrong, you'll have to be a little more specific. - Rolz

First: I'm not an Ork. Second: Looks good. ;-)
I had warned you before about the images, that's where my aggressive tone came from. --DetlefK 19:37, 13 July 2012 (CEST)

Image Categories still need adding.

Although you are doing some great work around here, there are still images on this wiki which have not been categorised by you yet. Looking at your image contributions here and recognizing what seems like over 20 in this list here i would like to say that there is an issue when you upload images and not adding categories!

Trust me you are not the only one who has not added categories to images and i am reminding them also. Just remember, three months ago, the unncategorised image list was under 150 images, right now it is at 300.

If you want a tip for doing mass files for the same category (eg Category:Images (Orks - Weapons) ) then open up multiple image pages, open the edit page for each then copy and paste very quickly across the bottom of each tab in your browser.--Ytokes 12:54, 12 August 2012 (CEST)

Ok, I'm on it. - Rolz

Orks in Deathwatch

I noticed that you are doing a lot of ork stuff, do you want to me to give direct citations of Ork info from the Deathwatch series?--Ashendant 02:21, 13 August 2012 (CEST)

Well, I have Core Rulebook, Final Sanction, Game Master's Kit, Rites of Battle, The Emperor Protects and Mark of Xenos. If there's any Ork info in other books, I'd be happy to see it.

Dude, seriously, I recommend you write your articles in something with a spellchecker first, then cut'n'paste them across. I know this is only a fan-made wiki, but a lot of the corrections I'm making are simple letter mis-types. I can understand if you're not English first language, but preview your edit before committing and check the spelling. Sorry to bring this up, but I've corrected more of your edits than anyone else's in the past few days and whilst I enjoy the proof-reader style challenge, you'd be doing yourself a favour by being a bit more careful. • Yeeear, sorry about that. Thanks for bringing this to my attention one more time, I'll work on it. - Rolz

Images II

You messed up the uploading of an image again: Please take a look at the stuff I had to add. --DetlefK 21:21, 27 September 2012 (CEST)

Not sure what are you talking about - Rolz

Hi, I noticed your edit to Template Primarchs, putting Legion XI-XX on a new line. I've assumed that it was to prevent the legion number being separate from the primarch on your display, so I've changed the code to prevent this from happening on any screen. If you were tring to indicate a difference between the first and second ten legions instead, or trying to make the template look more approachable or whatnot, then please add a discussion on the talk page, or restore the fixed line break, but remember that these often display differently for different people! Cheers. --IXS=][= 23:27, 10 October 2012 (CEST)

P.S. I've kept your removal of the redundant "House " part of each Necromunda House in Template:Houses, but restored the division between the Noble and Hive City houses, and between Aranthus (the "lost house") and the others, as these divisions are inherant to the subject, and help navigation. --IXS=][= 23:54, 10 October 2012 (CEST)

Got it, makes sense to me=) --Rolz

Don't worry. The way you did, the edit-history of the Spear-article got lost. I moved some things around and now everything is as it should be technic-wise and as you want it to be content-wise. --DetlefK 12:34, 6 November 2012 (CET)

Oh. Thanks then. --Rolz
