War of Neotech
The War of Neotech was fought in 747.M41, when T'au settlers of the Sept World Vesh'yo found themselves fighting for their lives against three invading Skitarii legions[1] deployed from orbiting Explorator Fleets. Despite the T'au being led by Commander Quicktide and inspired by the Ethereal Aun'Vos, they were overwhelmed by the Skitarii, which were aided by the Titans of Legio Atarus and the Knights of House Col'khak.[2]
War cohorts from another eight Skitarii Legions were deployed[1] before the T'au on the world were destroyed and the Explorator Fleets are able to claim the resource-rich world.[2] During the clean-up operation, six Adeptus Mechanicus star freighters[1] were filled with Vesh'yo's resources and salvaged T'au technology[2], which were sent back to the Forge World Tigrus.[1]
