Data and tools is a subsection of the Special pages tools. It comprises the following tools:
- API sandbox: an artificial API testing environment
- Book sources: allows to search multiple sources for a book via its ISBN. Note: does not work reliably
- Expand templates: takes text and expands all Templates in it recursively
- Statistics: general statistical data
- System messages: list of system messages
- Version: installed Mediawiki version
- View and edit interwiki data: overview of prefix shortcuts used in interwiki links
