Special pages is a collective term referring to a whole series of tools. Most of these tools are available to all Editors, a few are restricted and can therefore only be used by Administrators and Bureaucrats.

The Special pages tools overview is subdivided into different sections and comprises the following tools:

Recent changes and logs

• Gallery of new files: shows the last uploaded files in form of a gallery

• API sandbox: an artificial API testing environment

Redirecting special pages

• Pages with the most categories: lists pages with most Categories
• Pages with the most interwikis: lists pages by the number of Interlexicanum links
• Pages with the most revisions: lists pages by the number of edits

Page tools

• Change content model of a page: changes the content model (JavaScript, JSON, CSS, plain text) of a page
• Compare pages: compares different pages with individual revisions
• Export pages: exports pages in a format to import them into other wikis
• Import pages: allows to import previously exported pages - Note: only for Administrators and Bureaucrats
• Mass delete: allows for mass deletions of pages - Note: only for Administrators and Bureaucrats
• Merge page histories: allows to merge revisions of one source page into a newer page - Note: only for Administrators and Bureaucrats
