Dread Missile
Dread Missiles are exotic Psyker-based weapons utilized by the Night Lords warband dubbed the Fear Rakers.[1]
Crafted the Fear Rakers Warpsmith which mix Dark Age technology with eldritch Xenos lore, each Dread Missile's core consists of biological matter stitched together from the brain stems of captured psykers. These still-active brains are subjected to untold empyric torment as their living tissues are linked to those of other victims. The specific fear of one individual is shared and magnified until the entire coil radiates waves of palpable terror. Dozens of these coils are fitted into each Dread Missile, steeped in a brine of engineered hormones and viral Scrapcode and threaded with a core of the ashy material left after warp translations. The end result is a weapon which when detonated spreads waves of fear, panic, and madness across the battlefield which will devastate unaugmented Humans.[1]
