Briende was the Captain of the Ultramarines Legion's 111th Company, during the Great Crusade.^[1]

History

He would die while fighting on Emex and the loss of the Captain was hard for the 111th Company, as Briende had been beloved by those who had served under him. Afterwards, command of the Company was given to Ekritus.^[1]
