The Dawn of Desolation was a Space Wolves Grand Cruiser, that took part in the Horus Heresy.^[1]

History

It originally belonged to the Death Guard and was among the warships garrisoned on Barbarus that were sent to raid nearby Systems. During a return trip to its Homeworld in 013.M31, however, the raiding party the Dawn of Desolation belonged to clashed with a Space Wolves vanguard fleet. In the battle that followed, the Death Guard were defeated and the Dawn of Desolation was captured by the Space Wolves.^[1]
