Gilden (Blood Angels)
Gilden was a Blood Angels Dominion, whose forces brought what became known as the Gilden's Star System into Compliance, during the Great Crusade.[1]
History
It was named in his honor, but the Gilden's Star's population later fell to Heresy during the Horus Heresy, under the influence of the Word Bearers Dark Apostle Zaxos. The first Imperials to learn of this, was a nearby Blood Angels strike force that was led by the Archein, Alcetas Castael. He became incensed afterwards, as it was his Legion that had brought the Gilden Stars' worlds into Compliance. This led Castael to attack the System and he successfully cleaned the Gilden's Star of its corruption.[1]
