Gragnatz Stompkrumpa
Gragnatz Stompkrumpa was a Snakebites Beastboss, whose Beast Snaggas hordes resided on the Octarius System world, Badsquig.[1a]
History
He led them into battle against the invading Tyranids of Hive Fleet Leviathan, during the Octarius War in M42. This continued, even after the Swarmlord led a new invasion, which ultimately failed to destroy the Orks. However after the Swarmlord was killed by the Overfiend, it reemerged amid a group of Leviathan biofleets that had finished devouring several nearby worlds[1a]. The Swarmlord then used these fleets to invade the Octarius System again, near the same time as the Pankallis Sub-sector was being attacked. With numerous new swarms of Leviathan's Tyranids at its command, the Swarmlord finally succeeded in conquering the System. Gragnatz and his Beast Snaggas hordes met their end on Badsquig, after the Beastboss became obsessed with killing a unique blue skinned Bio-Titan, named Da Blue One. The Swarmlord had done this purposely, as the Beast Snaggas enjoyed killing what they deemed worthy prey, and Gragnatz began to daily waste thousands of his Orks' lives in attempts to kill the Bio-Titan. All of these attacks failed and Gragnatz's obsession grew to the point that he ignored the ongoing invasion to focus on killing Da Blue One. This allowed the Swarmlord to eventually lure Gragnatz and his hordes into a trap by using the Bio-Titan as bait. When the Beastboss saw Da Blue One at the bottom of a pit, with only a small amount of other Tyranids around it, Gragnatz immediately led his Beast Snaggas to kill the Bio-Titan. However, once all of his hordes entered the pit, numerous Leviathan swarms that had been hidden nearby emerged and charged into hole. Now trapped by the Tyranids' superior numbers, Gragnatz and his hordes were killed by Leviathan's swarms.[1b]
