Gun Batteries are massive Imperial anti-ship weapons, that are capable of firing into space[1] and are used to protect worlds from orbital bombardments.[2]
Description
They are usually located in weapon emplacements on a world's surface and two Gun Batteries can cover a wide area of space.[2] However if need be, the weapons are capable of shooting objects that are close to them.[3] The backs of Hive Ferrozoica's Chaos Spider Siege Weapons could also be equipped with Gun Batteries.[4]
