Janus Simulacrum

Janus Simulacrumservitor made with the barest minimum of human tissue, skimming over the direst form of tech-heresy by approaching an image of AI. Although, their cogitator-assisted cortex functions aren't known to being employed outside entertainment within the wealthiest's collections of curios as the simulacra are nigh exclusively used either as gilded works of art, animate statues, or human-sized dolls. The only known organic parts are the aforementioned cortex with nerve ganglia (albeit coordinated with a cogitator), besides those the entirety of the simulacrum is made of clockwork and hydraulics.[1]

While wondrous and extraordinary for the Imperium of Man, only the most depraved or foolhardy would sin to drive its cogitator towards sentience and try to pass one as a human. This didn't stop some civilized worlds, for planets have burned for this transgression, as the Cult Mechanicus did not, nor will, tolerate their sin.[11]
