Lomorr System
The Lomorr System (official designation V/76/L9) is a star system located within the Nephilim Anomaly.[1a][1b]
History
The human population of the Lomorr system was largely afflicted by The Stilling.[1b][1c] Imperial forces fought to defend the system against the Necrons during the Pariah Crusade.[1a]
Some time after the destruction of the pylon on Vergoyz Alpha, the Necrons renewed their assault on the system with a significant force led by Phaeron Nektarrik of the Thokt Dynasty descending on the planet Torantis with the aim of making an example of Torantis's defenders. This culminated in a clash in orbit between the system's Adeptus Mechanicus defenders and a cabal of Technomandrites called the Eyes of the Void. To combat the Necrons' use of a shard of the C'tan Iash'Uddra, the Mechanicus unleashed ancient weapons of terrifying scale that resulted in the destruction of a third of the planet.[1c]
