Order of the Burning Light
The Order of the Burning Light is a lesser Order of the Adepta Sororitas.[1]
History
Some of its Battle Sisters were stationed on Hediarth, when the Sithoza System fell to Heresy. As the Burning Light and other Orders there sought to defeat the rebellious population, its Sisters also defended the Shrine of Saint Locrezzia. They would later be aided in this quest by several members of the Black Templars, when the Chapter came to restore order to the world.[1]
The Order later committed forces to the Siege of Dharrovar during the Nachmund Rift War. They were known to have fought alongside the Sisters of the Order of the Sublime Adoration and Imperial Guardsmen of the 901st and 905th Dataggan Dragoons. In the Imperial retreat from Dharrovar, hundreds of the Burning Light's Sisters were killed by the forces of Chaos after the Guardsmen guarding their flanks were overwhelmed.[2]
