The Psyclopean Sharpshooters^[1]

The Psyclopean Sharpshooters are heavily armoured Astra Militarum Regiments from the Death World Psyclopea, which exists in eternal darkness and whose surface suffers from sub-zero temperatures.^[1]

Overview

Because of their Homeworld's environment, where Humans can only live within its caverns, the Sharpshooters come equipped with night-vision helmets, thermal body armour and training to deliver precision lasfire. This is because they risk their lives to hunt down Psyclopea's megafauna on its surface and the most fearless hunters wait to open fire down a beast's throat. The Sharpshooters also pride themselves in leaving no visible wounds on their prey, to ensure their world's planetary elite may display them as trophies. This skill set of foolhardy bravery combined with incredible precision, makes their Guardsmen sought after to serve as snipers.^[1]
