Genrul Straturgum was a genius Blood Axes Warlord who was considered to be the best among his Clan. The Genrul once commanded Ghazghkull Thraka's Blood Axes forces[1a] and was part of his Counsill of Clan-Bosses.[1b]

History

When Ghazghkull Thraka began to unite the Orks of Urk under his command, Straturgum was among the Clan Warlords he was going to challenge. However after Ugrak was defeated, the Genrul realized Thraka's victory was inevitable and decided not to fight the rising Warlord. Instead, he infiltrated Thraka's Rustspike settlement and came within stabbing distance of the Warlord. Straturgum did not plan on attacking, though, and had only secretly got close to Thraka to prove a point. Afterwards the Genrul joined the Warlord, as he could gain more by doing so, than trying to fight against Thraka's dominance.[1a]

After Thraka conquered Urk, he began the Second War of Armageddon, which Straturgum and the other Counsill of Clan-Bosses took part in. However when the War began to stall for Thraka's hordes, the Warlord escaped to Golgotha along with his Counsill[1c]. They later returned to begin the Third War of Armageddon[1d], however Straturgum was no longer among them. Sometime between the ending of the Second and opening stages of the Third War of Armageddon, the Genrul met his demise in an "unfortunate accident". He was then replaced by an ambitious younger Blood Axe officer, known as Colonel Taktikus, who took Straturgum's place on the Counsill and also began wearing the Genrul's uniform.[1d]
