The Dragon Slain
The Dragon Slain took place in 993.M41, when Ultima Segmentum Command dispatched a relief force to evacuate the population of Yorvith; after it was invaded by Hive Fleet Kraken. Among the relief force were the Knights of House Griffith, who led the defense of Yorvith's spaceport against the rampaging Tyranids, as refugees raced for the safety of the evacuation ships. Due to the Knights' efforts, the Tyranids were held at bay long enough for the ships to escape, with Yorvith's remaining population and the remnants of the relief force.[1]
