Walthem was a Trooper of the Astra Militarum's Hyrkan Regiments.^[1]

Walthem was amongst those who joined the first regiments to be raised from Hyrkan. A champion javelin thrower on his homeworld, he was able to translate this skill effectively into grenade throwing.^[1]
