The XI Adrigani Cuirassiers are an Astra Militarum Regiment.^[1]

History

It was among the Imperial forces that were defending Volkus as the world was being invaded by the T'au Empire. However, during the attack the Ork Big Mek Nuzgott launched his own invasion, in order to claim Massif Ballistus, the giant cannon which protected the Imperial world. Major Junati-Varn was charged with countering the Ork invasion, but due to the attack by the T'au, the XI Adrigani Cuirassiers were stretched thin. This left the Major with only inexperienced Conscript Guardsmen and a motley collection of the Regiment's Abhuman auxiliaries to defend the Balistus from Nuzgott's hordes.^[1]
