Zhinnon
Zhinnon was a Legionary of the Iron Warriors' 77th Grand Battalion active during the Horus Heresy. He remained loyal to the Emperor during the war.[1]
Biography
Zhinnon was recruited into the IV Legion in 849.M30 during the Great Crusade. That very same year, the primarch Perturabo was given control of the Legion and, wishing to make an example, purged it of those elements he found wanting. Despite being untested in battle at that point, Zhinnon was not caught up in the purge, due in part to his native martial bearing.[1]
Over the next fifty years (up to around the Triumph of Ullanor), Zhinnon saw extensive service in the Crusade. By the time of the Horus Heresy, he was serving under Warsmith Kyr Vhalen in the 77th Grand Battalion, as a member of the 30th Squad of the 5th Counter-Armour Wing.[1]
Zhinnon is known to be one of the few Loyalist survivors of the First Battle of Paramar.[1]
