Gydisk Alpha was a world of the Imperium.[1a] It is the first planet of the Gydisk System, located in the Pankallis Sub-sector.[1b]
History
In early M42, the Octarius War threatened to spill out of the Octarius warzone and breach the Cordon Impenetra. The tyranids of Hive Fleet Leviathan swarmed through the Pankallis Sub-sector, overwhelming the worlds of the Gydisk System. The entire system was declared lost, although scattered Imperial resistance remained active across the region.[1a]
