Imurah
Imurah was a Sorcerer Lord of the Thousand Sons Chaos Legion who led an invasion on Avarax and faced off against Lieutenant Titus and the Ultramarines.[1]
200 years before the events of Space Marine II, Imurah battled Marneus Calgar and was cast in Warp to face the wrath of Tzeentch for a time.[1c] He later reappeared and intended to acquire the Aurora device on Avarax. To that end, Imurah manipulated the Mechanicum Tech-Priest Morias Leuze into completing his work.[1a] After initially feigning weakness to the Aurora device, Imurah waits until Leuze had completed his preparations before killing the Tech-Priest and activating the array.[1b] Imurah opens a large Warp Portal with the Aurora Device, from which an allied Lord of Change emerges and battles the Ultramarines now led by Marneus Calgar.[1c]
After Titus and his squad are successful in realigning Aurora and weakening the Warp rift, Imurah and the Lord of Change flee back into the Warp with the device but are pursued by Calgar, Titus, Gadriel, and Chairon. While battling Imurah reveals that he intends to use the Aurora device to amplify his Warp powers and gain "divine knowledge", but during the ritual Titus realigns it. The subsequent implosion causes Imurah's body to disintegrate.[1c]
