Jahannam Platform

The Jahannam Platform was one of the Valdez Oil Platforms, located in the southern ocean of Armageddon, somewhere due south of Hive Helsreach.^[1]

During the Third War for Armageddon, the platform was attacked by the invading orks. It was destroyed by the orks, with over a thousand Imperial citizens dying in the process.^[1]

Each Valdez platform, like many features of Armageddon, shares a name with a dark figure or place in religious mythology. In this case, Jahannam is one of the afterlifes of Islam, in effect the Islamic equivalent of the Christian Hell.
