History
In M42 the Regiment was sent to infiltrate the Octarius System by a Lord Inquisitor. They succeeded in doing so and reported back that, as expected, the Sabretooths discovered evidence of the Ork and Tyranid conflict there. However the Regiment also found troubling signs[1a]: chainaxes, red and brass power armor and millions of skulls[1a][1b]. The Sabretooths did not know where the Chaos forces had gone afterwards, but a more urgent matter required the Lord Inquisitor's attention. They warned that numerous fresh waves of Tyranids, were now coming into the Octarius System.[1a]
