Alexei Lev Tieron
Alexei Lev Tieron was the Chancellor of the Senatorum Imperialis on Terra, at the time of the 13th Black Crusade.[1a]
History
While not a High Lord, the position nonetheless made Tieron extremely powerful and he gained significant influence over his eighty year tenure as Chancellor. During the 13th Black Crusade, Tieron was a key political player in pushing for the dissolution of the Edict of Restraint that kept the Adeptus Custodes bound to Terra.[1a]
During the Battle of Luna, Tieron was the first Adeptus Terra official to meet with the reborn Primarch Roboute Guilliman. After the Battle of Lion's Gate, he was made Guilliman's personal Remembrancer[1b] and Tieron's aid and occasional lover Anna-Murza Jek, replaced him as Chancellor of the Senatorum Imperialis.[2a] However due to his poor physical condition, Tieron ultimately did not follow Guilliman into the Indomitus Crusade, as he thought he may not survive the campaign. While remaining on Terra, though, Tieron later aided his former acolyte Jek against the rebellion plotted by the Hexarchy.[2b]
