Calladayce Taurovalia Kesh

Calladayce Taurovalia Kesh is an Adeptus Custodes who has been chosen to take part in the Blood Games several times, due to her flair for the grandiose and unexpected.[1]

History

In her last Blood Game in M42, Kesh attempted to win by teleporting a compact cyclonic warhead next to the Emperor's Golden Throne. She was going to accomplish this via the Battlefleet Solar Cobra Destroyer Vigilant Flame, which she had commandeered. Due to her being a member of the Adeptus Custodes, the Vigilant Flame's crew obediently followed her orders to travel to Terra so she could complete her mission. Having been sworn to secrecy, they even repeated her concocted cover story - that they were transporting an attache from the Hive World Necromunda - to get past the Throne World's defenses. Though they were doubtful about doing what Kesh ordered, none of the crew disobeyed her, save for the Vigilant's Officer of Vox Ewa Bhattoor. She began discreetly sending out a distress signal, which was received by the Custodes watching over Terra. Soon Shield-Captain Nicodaemius would teleport aboard the Vigilant with a group of Custodes and confront his friend Kesh. With that, the Vigilant was stopped from delivering its deadly cargo and Kesh's part in the Blood Games was over. This was eight-hundred and seventy three days, sixteen hours, and nine minutes after it began.[1]

Notes

Calladayce Taurovalia Kesh alongside Bayezara Aggonades are the first Custodes referred to as female, a concept which first appeared in the 10th Edition codex.[1]
