Colossus (Ark of Omen)
The Colossus is one of the Black Legion's Arks of Omen.[1]
History
Its hunt to track down a Key-Fragment for Abaddon the Despoiler, led the Space Hulk and its Balefleet to invade the Imperium Sanctus' [[Onalpa System]. The invaders boasted a huge and rapacious complement of Dark Mechanicum and Chaos Titans, which were then diapered by the Balefleet's warships to attack Onalpa's archeotech-rich worlds. However unbeknownst to the Balefleet, an Ultramarines strike force, led by Chaplain Julianos, was nearby and used this crucial opening to board the now unprotected Colossus. Even with this advantage, though, the Chaos forces still within the Space Hulk were nightmarish foes and the invading Space Marines were overwhelmed and killed. Before they died, however, the Ultramarines had succeeded in making several of Colossus' engines enter into a simultaneous meltdown. This triggered a series of blasts that tore the Space Hulk apart.[1]
