Merida is an Imperial world in the Yuctan system, and was the site of the first naval battle between the Necrons and Imperial Navy.[1]
A distress signal was sent from Merida when the Necrons arrived, and in 666.M40 a small fleet was dispatched to help, but all ships from the fleet except the one were destroyed. When another, larger, relief fleet arrived the Necrons were gone, having taken every single human from the surface of Merida.[1]
