What's the policy on unsourced material, again? Bobmath (talk) 08:20, 25 June 2019 (MDT)

So e-bay is considered a reliable source now? Bobmath (talk) 10:29, 25 June 2019 (MDT)
If you look at the image, you can see it is the back cover of the hardcopy source. This physical book doesn't have a digital analogue nor does it appear on the BL site because it's an event exclusive. The goodreads.com page for this book is sorely lacking, thus, the image linked to substantiates the citation of the source provided. Put plainly: Image shows these short stories appear in this physical publication, thus this physical publication is a valid source for these short stories. You are being unreasonable. GrumpyDilettante (talk) 10:44, 25 June 2019 (MDT)
It's established Lexicanum policy that physical copies of event-specific published material are not considered reliable sources. Take it up with the Inquisitor, it's not my decision. Bobmath (talk) 11:13, 25 June 2019 (MDT)
Personally, I think you're slightly misconstruing what's included in that section, I quote the Inquisitor there: "I discussed the policy with BigRed. I quote him: [...]challenge the researcher to spend the time, and do the digging to find the sources and link to them, or scan the cover of a physical copy for evidence". Thus, the issue in queston is proving the obscure source actually exists and showing its contents (which I have done by linking an image). Either way, I'll take it up with the Inquisitor. GrumpyDilettante (talk) 11:27, 25 June 2019 (MDT)
I would just point out that a scan proves nothing, as images can be fabricated easily. And you haven't made a scan yourself, you've linked to a site that has a reputation for false advertising. Bobmath (talk) 12:00, 25 June 2019 (MDT)
(Additional: Yes, it appears I missed one of the Inquisitor's arbitrary reversals.)
Bobmath, if you have a problem (and you clearly seem to have), take it up directly with me or BigRed instead of trying to stir up shit in the semi-shadows. Or leave. This is a definitive warning.
Re: Steel Confessors: I said get me a photo or scan of the pamphlet for consideration. As GrumpyDilettante pointed out correctly. --Inquisitor S., Großmeister des Ordo Lexicanum (talk) 03:19, 26 June 2019 (MDT)
