Thalhaiden was a Space Marine of the Black Templars Chapter.[1]
He was amongst the Marines that fought during the Third War for Armageddon under the command of Reclusiarch Merek Grimaldus in the Helsreach Crusade. On the 21st day of the siege, Thalhaiden was severely wounded in single combat with an Ork Dreadnought at the Danab Junction. His injuries were judged too extreme for him to survive under the circumstances and, as such, he was granted the Emperor's Peace.[1]
