The Cadian 23rd, known as the "Punishers"^[3], were one of the Cadian Shock Troopers regiments of the Astra Militarum.^[1]

Notable Actions

• 795.M41: The Krandor Rebellion— The Cadian 23rd defeated a number of Chaos Cults that had instigated an uprising in the Krandor System.^[2][3]
• Late M41: Third Tyrannic War — The regiment defended Gorgo against the Tyranids of Hive Fleet Leviathan before being overwhelmed.^[4]
• 999.M41: The 13th Black Crusade^{[5][Note 1]}

Notes

• Note 1: The Cadian 23rd are listed twice on a list of units that participated in the defence against the 13th Black Crusade.^[5] The reason for this is unknown.
