Balcoth was a World Eaters Caedere, who took part in the Great Crusade and Horus Heresy.^[1]

History

During the Heresy, he was sent to serve in Task Force Ygethddon, which was charged with ensuring the Blood Angels did not escape from the Signus Cluster, where a trap had been set for them. While it ultimately failed in keeping the Blood Angels imprisoned, the Task Force's interdiction of the Cluster later succeeded in destroying several other Loyalist Legionary forces.^[1]
