Each company of the 98th Armoured has its own symbol, displayed by all of the vehicles in said company (usually within a white band on the front of the track section).[1d] Known company symbols include Σ[1a], Ψ[1b], φ[1c], Θ[1d], Δ[1e], Ξ[1f] and Λ.[1g]

The 98th Armoured is notable for having multiple Super Heavy Tanks permanently attached to the regiment, including a Mars-pattern Baneblade[1b] and a Stormblade.[1c]
