Chrono Crystal
Chrono Crystals are fabled items that Bald Bryen, the infamous mayor of Necromunda's Rust Town, has given to anyone that can claim them from his deadly maze.[1]
Only a handful of gangs and individuals have ever won Bryen's Crystals[1] and doing so has now become vanishingly rare. Those that have succeeded, though, have earned Bryen's eternal enmity and may also eventually cross paths with the Ordo Chronos.[2] This is likely due to the rumours that Bryen serves dark forces and the crystals are links in a plot that will bring about the Chrono-Cataclysm.[1]
Known Owners
While some of the Chrono Crystals are still in the hands of their original owners, many have since been lost, stolen or sold.[1]
- Hagan - Owner of Hagan's Hole, who was sold a Crystal by a notable Underhive Bounty Hunter, in order to cover an outlandish drinking tab. The Chrono Crystal now lies above Hagan's bar and some drinkers claim the Crystal does strange things to the flow of time when you look at it (though that might just be the booze).[1]
- 'One-Eyed' Kitty - A blade dancer out of Two Tunnels, who was given a Crystal by an admirer. When she dances she wears it in her navel and the Chrono Crystal's sparkle mesmerizes Kitty's audience.[1]
- Caustus the Chain Lord - A slaver, who has his Crystal set into the hilt of his shock lash. Its brilliance forms a stark contrast to Caustus' grimy appearance and broken grin.[1]
