Denaris was a Sergeant in the Ultramarines Chapter.^[1]

History

In M42, he was among the Ultramarines' forces that fought Plague Marines on Korvon 11. There he fought beside his Battle Brother Giulus Icaris, who Denaris served as a mentor to. However during the course of the battle, the Sergeant was killed when a Plague Marine's blade pierced his hearts. This caused him to drop his chainsword, which was then picked up by Icaris. Denaris' death was then avenged, when Icaris used the Sergeant's weapon to strike the Plague Marine down. In the battle's aftermath, Icaris claimed Sergeant's chainsword as his own and named it Denaris' Vengeance, in honor of his fallen mentor.^[1]
