Idon Throom
Idon Throom is an Interrogator for the Ordo Hereticus High Inquisitor Tranquelda Horfus. He is also a Lieutenant in the Star Devils Inquisitorial Storm Trooper Regiment, which is among the Imperial forces that serve the High Inquisitor.[1]
History
In M42 Throom and large number of Horfus's forces, were sent to gather information about the Thousand Sons' combat doctrine, during the Prosperan Rift War. Among the worlds visited by the Interrogator, was the invaded Mausoleum World Harlecrypt Tertius. By the time, Throom arrived, the Imperial forces defending the world, had drove the Thousand Sons and their allies into a stalemate. This allowed the Interrogator to deploy his forces on the battlefield, to observe the Thousand Sons and allow Throom to interrogate any surviving witnesses to their attacks. While he met with success with his witnesses' testimony, though Throom executed some for cowardice in battle, the Interrogator failed with observing the Thousand Sons. His deployed forces were largely destroyed and while he was able to recover the Pict Servitors that they protected, this was of limited use. The Warp power the Thousand Sons' Sorcerers wielded, made it extremely difficult for them to be captured on Picts. Either Throom's Servitors would stop working or become confused and only a few Sorcerers Picts were taken clearly. While on Harlecrypt Tertius, the Interrogator sent a report to High Inquisitor Tranquelda Horfus, about what he had learned about the Thousand Sons so far. Throom admitted, though, that it was not a lot of solid information and that his forces had already suffered severe losses.[1]
