Komaris is a fallen Imperial world located in the Moebian Domain's Fringe Region. It once served as the bastion of Imperial authority in the Moebian Fringe for roughly 10,000 years.[2a]
Komaris recently fell during the Fringe War of late M41 or early M42.[1a] Since the domain's inception during the Great Crusade, it has been the primary bastion defending the Moebian Domain's core worlds against the Darktide threats from the Moebian Fringe and keeping Imperial order in the Moebian Fringe Region.[2b]
The world known as Messelina Gloriana attempts to fill the role that Komaris once did, as the primary world defending against Darktide threats from beyond the Moebian Fringe and keeping Imperial order within the Fringe Region.[1a] The Komaris Memorial Feast is a holiday local to the Moebian Domain. The faithful Wardens of the Moebian Domain's Wardenchain often oversee these memorial feasts.[1b]
At some point, a conflict known as the Defense of the Komaris Belt fortifications took place.[1a][1c]
