Magnificum Incendius
The Magnificum Incendius is an Imperator Class Titan of the Legio Ignatum, commanded by Princep Bassanius.[1]
History
After the Schism of Mars, loyalist members of the Mechanicum were forced to move their centre of operations to Terra. During the deliberations between the Council of Terra and the loyalist members of the Mechanicum, the Council of Terra initially refused to the creation of the Adeptus Mechanicus, even planning on trying to wrest control of the Titans from them. The Magnificum Incendius marched upon the Great Chamber of the Senatorum Imperialis in a display of force, at the beheadst of the Mechanicum's Ambassador, Tech-Priest Vethorel, to remind them that the Collegia Titanica owed its loyalty to the Mechanicum, not the Council. Despite the palace defenders' efforts, they could not even slow the titan down. Its march was only halted upon the council's agreement to the creation of the Adeptus Mechanicus.[1]
During the Siege of Terra, the Magnificum Incendius was one of the three Ignatum Emperor Titans present alongside the Imperious Prima and Exemplis. It took part in the battle against the Legio Mortis in the Mercury-Exultant Kill-Zone.[2]
