Miskal Prime lies within the Halo Zone and was the source of a vision that was received by an Imperium Astropath.[1]

History

The Astropath's vision showed that Miskal Prime was the site where two ancient enemies would clash in an epic battle that would make the stars bleed. The vision was reported to the Inquisition, and after the maddened Astropath was given the Emperor's peace, a representative of the Ordo Xenos was dispatched to Miskal Prime to investigate.[1]

When the Ordo Xenos Inquisitor Stuge arrived on Miskal Prime, he discovered a world that had been devastated in an epic battle. The world's land now laid scorched and dead and the deceased mutilated bodies of the Eldar laid all around. After some searching though, the Inquisitor and his retinue discovered a single surviving Eldar who was close to death. The Eldar told Inquisitor Stuge that its Craftworld's forces had fought an army of mechanical xenos, to protect Miskal Prime, but they were defeated and the world was destroyed by their foes. The Eldar warned that its Craftworld's defeat foretold that their foes would go on to cause widespread destruction that would spread out from Miskal Prime, but before Inquisitor Stuge could learn more, the Eldar died from its wounds. Afterwards, the Inquisition harvested the Eldar's tech from Miskal Prime's dead landscape, but they could find no evidence of the mechanical Xenos that the Eldar had claimed to have fought.[1]
