Stormheart
Stormheart is a Space Wolves Wolf Guard Terminator, who has tempered his youthful savagery with the wisdom of experience.[1b]
History
In battle, Stormheart wields a Cyclone Missile Launcher and provides fire support, by sending missiles wherever his Battle Brothers' foes are the thickest. In M42, he was among the Space Wolves[1b] that defended the Imperium's worlds in the Vertex Sector. When the vital world of Vertex, suffered an Ork invasion[1a] the Space Wolves[1b] and several Space Marine Chapters came to its defence.[1a] Stormheart would do battle with the invading Orks[1b], but his mission changed when the Xenos found a weakness in the Hive City of Acastus' defences. It had been protected during the invasion by a Void Shield network, which was projected from an armoured bunker designated Shield Generator Gamma-9. However the Orks would discover this and several hordes were sent to destroy it, so the Xenos could invade the Hive City.[1a]
The Chapters became aware of the danger[1a] and each sent a Terminator to protect the Shield Generator. Stormheart was sent by the Space Wolves to defend it and he was joined by the Blood Angel Sergeant Angelus, the Imperial Fist Etrus, the Salamander Magmus and the Ultramarine Lucian[1b]. Though they numbered only five, in the close confines of the armoured bunker, these Terminator-armoured warriors would be in their element. None would allow the Orks access to Shield Generator Gamma-9, without a fierce battle.[1a]
