Open Questions
As I am new to the 40K universe, I want to keep track of some questions that I haven't been able to find a complete answer yet.
What are the Necron body parts?
- I have started to discern Necron physiology here, but different authors sometimes will use different words to describe the robotic counterparts of Necrontyr body parts.
Answered Questions
Hopefully all of the questions in the section above will eventually be moved to this section. I will only move a question once I feel I have found a conclusive, complete answer to it.
Where is Doahht? (A: In the Ghoul Stars, not far from Drazak)
- The tomb world where most of the action in Severed (Novella) happens is cited as being: on the far eastern fringe which the humans called the Ghoul Stars.
- Eastern Fringe and Ghoul Stars seem to be different regions in space, within (or bordering) the Ultima Segmentum, as shown here and here
- After sending a message to Severed (Novella) author Nate Crowley, he clarified he meant the Ghoul Stars
- Inquisitor S. provided another interesting argument supporting the author's position. In the Novella's original text eastern fringe is not capitalized, so it has to be talking about "the fringe of the segmentum" rather than THE Eastern Fringe.
