Overview
Vigos is described as a hyper-verdant planet belonging to the T'au Empire. It was the target of Hive Fleet Kraken as well as a Dark Eldar scheme in the War of Dark Revelations.
War of Dark Revelations
In the closing years of M41, Vigos came under attack from a splinter fleet of Hive Fleet Kraken, though due to an agreement for aid between the Tau Empire and the Haemonculi Coven, The Prophets of Flesh the world was saved. However, after the Empire learned that the Coven had mutilated and experimented on the Tau, that were given to the Prophets as payment for their aid, the arrangement between them ended, resulting in the sacking of Rubikon.[1]
The Prophets of Flesh would later raid Vigos and take a number of Tau with them back to Commorragh.[2]
Years later, an Imperium force from the Officio Diplomaticus landed on Vigos, in order to gather information from them about the Haemonculi of The Prophets of Flesh, who had attacked the Sept World. However, after the fragile talks between them began, a large horde of Xenos and Chaos worshipers suddenly emerged from a hidden Webway Portal on Vigos and have begun attacking the Imperium and Tau Empire's forces.[3]
