Space Marines Portal Ultramarines

Guardatus is a Sergeant in the Ultramarines Chapter's 2nd Company.^[1b]

History

He was among its forces^[1a] that took part in the First Tyrannic War's Battle for Macragge, where the Ultramarines defended their Homeworld from Hive Fleet Behemoth.^[1] The Sergeant's squadron later aided the Chapter in achieving a major victory, when the Hive Fleet's Bioships were destroyed in Macragge's orbit. However the battle on its surface continued to rage and the Ultramarines' Chapter Master, Calgar, ordered the Chapter's forces in orbit to deploy to Macragge. Squad Guardatus was among those that did so and they were given the mission of holding the line against the Xenos at all costs.^[1a]

As the battle continued to rage, the squadron later aided the Dreadnought Ferrox in defending a small 2nd Company outpost. As they did so, though, the Tyranids overran the outpost's outer defenses and advanced upon them.^[1b] Squad Guardatus survived that battle and then aided their Captain, Agemman, in defending one of Macragge's sectors. They eventually needed more reinforcements to do so and Squad Guardatus protected Agemman, as the Captain activated a Locator Beacon in order to summon more Ultramarines to his side.^[1c] This was successful and Guardatus and his squadron continued to aid Agemman in protecting their assigned sector.^[1d]
