A goddess to the primitive Ratskins, the Bloodmare held prophetic significance to them, for it was said that if she would unite with the Rat God at the "Place of Many Merchants", the Spire would collapse.[1]
The Caller, himself in possession of one of the eyes of the Bloodmare, the magical Bloodmare Stone, would try to fulfil that prophecy during his uprising. After the reanimation of the dead Rat God by Ferron Voor, the Caller summoned forth both of the giant mythical creatures to the recently conquered Guilder's Gulch.[1]
However, before the two gods of the Ratskins could unite, Klovis the Redeemer and his warband of zealots interfered. Brutally assailing the Broodmare, the fanatic Redemptionist drove her into pain-induced madness, and turned her against the Rat God, which she killed.[1]
The Redeemer then brutally executed her, driving the Sword of Persecution through her brain, resulting in her body erupting into a devastating wave of energy.[1]
Her spirit lingered for a while, attached to the Bloodmare Stone before fading as it crumbled into dust.[1]
Powers
The Bloodmare displayed significant psychic powers, her seven eyes allowing her to channel a psychic energy field and her body being charged with psychic power. Her severed eye, the Bloodmare Stone, also displayed, in the hands of The Caller, numerous supernatural powers.[1]
