Cadian 9th

The Cadian 9th was one of the Cadian Shock Troopers regiments of the Astra Militarum.^[1]

By the end of M41, the regiment was stationed on Cadia itself as part of the garrison forces of the Cadian Gate.^[1] It participated in the Imperial defence against the 13th Black Crusade,^[2] and was destroyed in the proccess.^[6]

• 937.M41: Battle of Fortress Carcasson - The regiment defeats Hive Fleet Scarabus.^[4][5][7]
• 968.M41: Khai-Zhan Uprising^[3]
• 999.M41: 13th Black Crusade^[2] - The regiment is destroyed.^[6]

Assets

The unit was known for manning Turret Emplacements as part of the defense lines of Cadia during the 13th Black Crusade.^[1]
