Catachan XXXI

The Catachan XXXI, known as the "Black Strikes", are a Catachan Jungle Fighters airborne mechanized regiment of the Astra Militarum.^[1]

The regiment was deployed on Drashin in 970.M41, fighting a Tyranid invasion alongside the Imperial Fists.^[2] In early M42, the regiment was present on Catachan shortly after the opening of the Great Rift. They were among the native regiments that defended the planet after a Daemonic incursion was triggered by the Tuloschan Grey Companions.^[1]
