The Crimson Tear is an Angels Numinous Battle Barge, that was among the Chapter's forces that took part in the Devastation of Baal.[1a]
History
Before Hive Fleet Leviathan reached the Blood Angels' Homeworld of Baal, the Crimson Tear was among the defending forces that performed Exterminatus on nearby worlds. This was to deny their bio-mass to the advancing Hive Fleet, which it could use against Baal. The Crimson Tear is known to have led a strike force that helped destroy Zozan Tertius, which it did alongside Captain Asante's Blood Angels strike force. Both then escaped[1a] back to Baal[1b], but it is not known what became of the Tear when Hive Fleet Leviathan finally reached the world.[1c]
